I recently watched a movie called Ziegfeld Girl. It certainly had an all-star cast: Judy Garland, Lana Turner, Hedy Lamarr and James Stewart. These women play show girls in the Ziegfeld Follies, which were actual productions on Broadway. Judy Garland looks radiant! James Stewart also looks at his best. Maybe it's because they were all young back then. For 1941, I was surprised to see such racy costumes, even though they were show girls. In any case, the costumes and the productions shown in the movie were very grand.
